PSG Balita: Android App for Calculating Child Nutrition Status
PSG Balita is an Android-based application that aims to calculate the nutritional status of children under five years old (PSG Balita) and is a parameter for monitoring their growth and development. The application uses z-score values to calculate nutritional status with reference to the WHO Growth Standards. It calculates the z-score using the LMS method for all indicators, allowing derivation within the appropriate interval for z-scores between -3 and 3.
The PSG Balita application calculates the nutritional status based on six anthropometric indices, including weight-for-age (WAZ), height-for-age (HAZ), weight-for-height (WHZ), body mass index-for-age (BAZ), mid-upper arm circumference-for-age (MUACZ), and head circumference-for-age (HCZ). The application provides an easy-to-use interface to input the child's data and get an instant result. PSG Balita is a free application available on the Google Play Store, making it accessible to anyone who wants to monitor the nutritional status of their child.
